Jim Harding For TENNESSEE STATE SENATE District 27

Jim'S ENDORSEMENTS:

The "Gibson County Patriots" proudly endorse Colonel Jim Harding as their Republican candidate for the Tennessee State Senate District 27.

June 8, 2010 - David Nance - President

I have known Jim Harding for over 30 years and can attest to the fact that he is a genuine American hero and one of the most qualified people that I know to hold public office. I have known Jim as our military careers progressed through the US Air Force. He has demonstrated his bravery and skill under the most trying combat conditions. He has shown that he has the keen sense and intelligence to overcome any problem that may confront him. These same traits are what make him so qualified to hold public office and do what is the correct thing versus what may be the politically expedient action. I not only trust him for his judgment and patriotism, but I would trust him with my life. I say this because there were many in combat that did trust him with their lives. He never let any of them down.  I cannot emphasize enough that Jim Harding is extremely well qualified for any position in the public trust.

Respectively submitted by,

David Brog, Colonel, US Air Force (Retired)

I was a Cadet of Colonel James Harding’s from 1994-1998 at Aviano Air Base Italy. During this time the Colonel taught me and lectured me on Air Force history, core values, uniform presentation and many other course required material. But what he didn’t teach in the classroom, what no one ever grades you on is the life long impact a teacher has on a student. The Colonel taught my classmates and me about honor, integrity, loyalty and being a good American, not through words or classroom activity, but through his actions and the way he lived his life.

After high school I attended College and eventually joined the Air Force myself, the Colonel and Barbra were there at my Graduation and it remains one of the proudest moments of my life to have him see me start on the pathway towards serving my country.

Through my career as an F-16/F-117 Crew Chief I strived to be the kind of person he would be proud of. I finished my six year enlistment with honor and am now a Pre-School Teacher at a private Learning Center in Ohio, where I teach by example and by actions, not just by talking.

The Colonel performs every task with one hundred percent of his being, everything he does; he does with honor and kindness. My name is Emily Wannarka, and I endorse James Harding for Tennessee Senate with all my heart, there is no doubt in my mind that that he deserves your trust and vote.

Colonel Harding, just a few days before my son died, he got to meet you at the Union City Rally. On the way home he made a comment I will never forget. He said; “Pop, I’ve been to over 20 countries and fought beside some brave men who love this Country, but that man IS THIS COUNTRY.” Colonel, I know we will probably get heavy, but YOU can carry the load. I look forward to seeing you tonight. I’ll have on the Marine Dad hat, which I wear so proudly. Thank you for “Answering the Call” one more time. Charlie Roby, Proud dad of a United States Marine!

After 9 months of incubation, The West Tennessee Tea Party movement has given Birth. Col Harding is one of our firstborn from a strong list of candidates who share our ideals ~ Pride, Principles and Patriotism. We have a good race coming up on the local level to national races. It is time for the REAL leaders of the Tea Party to put our boots on and put rubber to the road. I wish all who run “good luck”. Like Mark from farm logic says, "It has been about 1000 days and it is time to take the culls to the slaughter house." Davey Crockett would sure be proud of us carrying on his tradition.

Thank you for taking on this new mission. It may be as tough as any mission you have ever undertaken. You successfully completed all of your other missions, so we are confident you will be victorious once again. All of us that love freedom are supporting you 110%. Our elected officials have been taking our freedoms away from us. Today we begin the mission to take OUR freedoms back.

“God Bless You” James and Barbara Harding

It is my great pleasure to know Colonel Jim Harding as a friend, conservative Patriot and fellow veteran of the War(s) in Southeast Asia, 1971 – 1972.

Air Force Cross – for the rescue of "Bengal 505-Alpha" USMC Major Clyde D. Smith, A-6A Intruder pilot.

Participant in one of the greatest rescues in Air Force history – the rescue of “Oyster 01-Bravo” AF Captain Roger C. Locher.

Shotdown himself by a heat-seeking SA-7 Strela missile, he successfully escaped & evaded enemy capture, to continue commanding A-1 Skyraider rescue forces.

Some talk-the-talk. Colonel Jim walked-the-walk.

Bob Laymon, Chief Master Sergeant, USAF (Ret.)

Jim,

You have the support of Veteran Defenders, not only in Tennessee but from all over the nation. It takes patriots like you to step up when the country needs you most. Congratulations on your run for the senate and may God preserve you to help defend this great country.

God bless you, Jim Harding.

Richard Van Waes, CEO and Founder of Veteran Defenders of America

Col. Harding,

I am so very glad you have decided to run for Senate after your prayerful consideration. I heard you speak back earlier in the year at the Huntingdon Tea Party and you were very inspiring. I must add that I share your views whole heartily. I have absolutely no doubt that you and leaders just like you are exactly what this great state and great nation are dire need of.

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that you have my prayers and support and that I will do my part to make sure you are awarded this Senate seat. You are a true American hero and a role model for all. You and men like you are totally non-existent in today's political arena and it is my opinion that this is where America has gone wrong. Character and moral value does matter!!! In prayer I will ask Christ our Lord and Savior to bless Tennessee District 27 with a God fearing Senator that will stand and fight the good fight. I know you are that man. Again, thank you for your service to this great nation and thank you for your candidacy!

Hi Colonel Harding!

I really enjoyed your talk at the Elks Lodge Tuesday night. That was my first time hearing you speak and my first time at such a meeting. Politics have always been discussed in my home, but I've never been one to care as much as I should. Your speach and life story has motivated me to become more involved. I look forward to helping in any way I can with your campaign!

You have a lot of us behind you, even if we don't live in TN! We were all very lucky to have you in our lives as little high school JROTC goofballs! Thank you for all your wisdom!!!

Samala Harris, AFJROTC Cadet

Hey Col.!!

My family and I heard you speak a few months back with Mike Slater up on North Highland in Jackson. I brought my scouts to see you. You have our full support! God bless you!!

Hi, Colonel Harding.

I was in your AFJROTC class at Vero Beach High School. Mary sent your information to me. I don't know what office you are running for but I would vote for you if I could! We certainly need more people like you running this country!
